Pen and Ink + Collage

These works represent a unique philosophy of "Welded Collage" applied to paper, photographs and cloth. Sometimes using found photographs as a central anchor, Max used pen and ink to extend the scene while integrating scraps of fabric to add weight and history to the composition. The use of textiles adds a domestic, handcrafted warmth to his pen and ink work, grounding his industrial and architectural themes in a personal, human context.
